CWCL Qualifiers: Kampala Queens score late to secure a draw against CBE

Kampala Queens 1-1 CBE – FUFA Technical Center Njeru.

The Queen of Soccer were shocked again by Ethiopian Champions CBE when they played out a 1-1 draw at FUFA Technical Center Njeru.

The Queens of Soccer came into the game with a target of maximum points as to enlight their chances of sealing a semifinal slot which wasn’t the case.

CBE started a firing side in the 2nd minute of the game thanks to early opener of Captain Loza Abera.

Kampala Queens efforts of searching of an equaliser was handled responsibly by an organized team of CBE.

Later in added minutes after normal time, Zainah Nandege headed in for Kampala Queens and so 1-1 was the fulltime score.

The results meant CBE booked their Semifinal slot along with Kenyan Vihaga Queens and Tanzanian JKT Queens who progressed from group B.

Meanwhile Kampala Queens remained in the second place with 4 points 1 ahead of Bujja Queens who have played one more less game.

For Kampala Queens to qualify will need to win their last game and pray for Bujja Queens to lose one of their last two games.
