Soroti Metropolis to host historic first-ever ladies’s Check match – The Touchline Sports activities

As Soroti Cricket Academy continues to rejoice a decade of excellence, the town is poised to make historical past with its first-ever ladies’s Check match.

Over the following three days, the picturesque Soroti Metropolis Cricket Oval, positioned simply reverse Soroti Lodge, would be the venue for a landmark occasion on this planet of ladies’s cricket.

This groundbreaking match will function two native groups: Soroti Metropolis West Cricket Membership and Soroti Metropolis East Cricket Membership.

The groups are a mix of Soroti Cricket Academy (SCA) alumni and present academy trainees, showcasing the event and success of the academy’s applications through the years.

Felix Musana, Chairman and Founding father of Soroti Cricket Academy, shared his pleasure:

“About 99% of our success has been pushed by the unimaginable efforts of our girls, whose victories have added a lot shine to our trophy cupboard.

Check cricket is the purest type of the sport, and it’s only becoming that our women take to the sector on this format for the primary time.”
