Ethan Hunt is again … for the ultimate time? The trailer for the subsequent “Mission: Not possible” movie is right here, and it brings with it a brand new title that raises an eyebrow or two. The flick is known as “Mission: Not possible – The Closing Reckoning,” and the phrase “last” in there appears to indicate this would be the final journey for the Not possible: Mission power. At one level, this film was going to be known as “Mission: Not possible – Lifeless Reckoning Half Two,” because the earlier entry was “Mission: Not possible – Lifeless Reckoning Half One.” However “Lifeless Reckoning Half One” underperformed on the field workplace, and studio Paramount shortly dropped the “Half One” from the title by the point the movie hit digital and Blu-ray.
The title could also be completely different, however “The Closing Reckoning” will nonetheless be a continuation of the earlier movie, as “Lifeless Reckoning” ended on a cliffhanger with villain Gabriel (Esai Morales) getting away. As for Ethan Hunt and his crew, they must discover a sunken submarine that we noticed in the beginning of the earlier film and use a mysterious key that unlocks secrets and techniques tied to the Entity, a type of evil A.I. that has made everybody’s life a residing hell. I will be sincere: I like, love, love this franchise, however “Lifeless Reckoning” felt like a disappointment. I used to be particularly surly that the movie killed off fan favourite character Ilsa Faust, performed by Rebecca Ferguson. However who is aware of — possibly she’s not lifeless! Possibly somebody will pull off a masks on this new film and reveal they’re Ilsa, alive and properly, someway! For now, although, watch the “Mission: Not possible – The Closing Reckoning” trailer above as we await the movie’s Could 23, 2025 launch date.
