The Federation of Uganda Soccer Associations (FUFA) Govt Committee has suspended the implementation of the brand new format for the 2025/26 StarTimes Uganda Premier League (UPL) season.

In an announcement issued on Saturday night, FUFA confirmed that Rule 14:4-12 of the FUFA Competitors Guidelines 2025, which had launched changes to the league’s competitors construction, is not going to apply this season.
