Nacional defender Juan Izquierdo has died after collapsing on the pitch throughout a Copa Libertadores match earlier this month with an irregular heartbeat.
The 27-year-old Uruguayan had been present process therapy in hospital since his collapse throughout Nacional’s recreation in opposition to Sao Paulo on 22 August.
