Uganda Squash Nationwide Girls staff secured the 2024 All Africa Open Squash Championship bronze that was performed on the Wanderers Squash courts, Windhoek, Namibia.
The Championship which shuttled off on 18th and climaxed on twenty fourth November noticed the Girls staff had solely two gamers Elizabeth Musiimenta and Safinah Mugide shine.
With representatives from Zambia, Zimbabwe, Uganda, Nigeria, Egypt, South Africa and hosts Namibia.
Uganda Girls staff clinched the third place end after defeat by the hosts Namibia who took silver and Nigeria topped champions of ladies’s class.
Proper after their win, the Girls who secured bronze for Uganda specific their gratitude;
“I’m humbled for this win, that is my first for the All Africa Squash Championship Open.” Elizabeth Musimenta began
“I salute my opponents and the remainder of the gamers. Particular due to the Uganda Squash Rackets Affiliation and the primary organizers” she concluded.
Within the males’s Class the place Workforce Uganda took took 4 gamers, they secured fifth place with gold going to Nigeria, Silver to Namibia and bronze to Zimbabwe .
