Russell Martin says the help he has had from Sir Alex Ferguson since taking on as Rangers head coach has been “unbelievable”.
The previous Manchester United supervisor paid his first go to to the membership’s Auchenhowie coaching centre on Friday, within the firm of Rangers nice John Greig.
Ferguson, 83, performed for 2 seasons at Rangers from 1967-69, whereas Greig, 82, spent his complete profession at Ibrox earlier than a five-year spell as supervisor.

“They’re each actually behind us and what we’re doing. They’re determined for this group to do effectively.

Martin performed underneath Sir Alex’s son Darren Ferguson at Peterborough United who made him captain when he was simply 21.

“I mentioned ‘in fact’ and since then Sir Alex has been in powerful often. He is been nice. He is been so supportive of me personally, which is unbelievable.
“It is the primary time he is been right here and it was simply good for everybody to see him.”
