The Uganda U20 Girls’s Rugby group, also called the Woman Cranes, have departed for South Africa to take part within the inaugural U20 African Collection.
This historic second marks the group’s first look on the worldwide stage.
The group, consisting of 25 gamers and officers, was flagged off from Kyadondo by Uganda Rugby Union Secretary Common, Peter Odong, who expressed pleasure within the group’s achievement.
“It is a proud second for the whole rugby neighborhood in Uganda,” he stated. “The chance for our younger girls to compete at this degree is a testomony to the strategic course of the Union by way of creating the sport”
