After twice defending his crown, Prince was crushed when he fought Dariusz Michalczewski, exterior for the world title in Oberhausen, Germany in September 1998.
In 2006, his 15-year-old son Kiyan was murdered by a fellow teenager whereas attempting to interrupt up a battle.
Kiyan was a proficient footballer, who had joined the academy of Championship facet Queens Park Rangers when he was 13.
Reflecting on his son’s loss of life, Prince mentioned: “I do not suppose we’re constructed for information like that.

Prince created the Kiyan Prince Basis, which has reached greater than 100,000 kids by its programmes, life teaching and motivational talks.
He was made an OBE within the 2019 New Yr’s Honours record for his work to fight knife crime.
The inspiration was awarded the naming rights to QPR’s Loftus Highway in 2019 following a public vote, and has been supported by present and former footballers together with Les Ferdinand, Jamie Redknapp and Charlie Austin.
“The membership was closely concerned in supporting Mark,” former QPR and England striker Ferdinand advised BBC Sport.
“What he brings is honesty and reality. In Mark, these boys can see themselves. They arrive from the place he did.”
This yr marks the twenty fifth yr of the Helen Rollason Award.
