Amus College books a Semifinal slot as Kawempe Muslim, St Noa play out a goalless draw

It was a joyful day as Uganda’s Amus College defeated Tanzania’s Fountain Gate 1-0 to seal a semifinal slot.
It was their third win in the tournament, the performance which leaves them in the first place with 9 points.
Imelda Kasemiire scored the all important goal for Amus College that earned them three points.
In the other game in the group, Kenya’s Wiyeta Girls defeated Uganda’s Sacred Heart on a 4-0 score taking their tally of points to six.
On Wednesday 23rd August, Amus College will take on record four times’ winner Wiyeta Girls to determine who takes the top place.
Other Ugandan representatives Kawempe Muslim and St Noah Girls played out a goalless draw to take their tally of points to seven.
The results means Kawempe Muslim and St Noah Girls level on seven points with third team Madira Girls coming 2 points below.
This means that both teams need one point to qualify with St Noa Girls next playing Kenya’s Madira Girls.
