St Mary’s Boarding School Kitende 2-1 St Henry’s College Kitovu

Amus College 1-0 Kibuli Secondary School

St Mary’s Boarding School Kitende handled a 2-1 defeat to St Henry’s Kitovu to reach finals of FEASSSA Boys Games.

Fazila Tumwine was the hero for the Wakiso based side Kitende as his brace sealed the final slot for his side.

A game played at Kamena Stadium, Fazil Tumwine opened the score for St Mary’s Kitende in the 10th minute.

Fazil Tumwine doubled the lead for Kitende as the game continued.

St Henry’s Kitovu pulled one back for St Henry’s Kitovu in the closing minutes but this was too late to bring back life to the Masaka based school.

In other Semifinal game, Amus College Bukedea overcame defending champions Kibuli SS on a 1-0 score.

Allan Oyirwoth appeared on the score sheet when he converted a penalty taking his goalscoring tally to 11 goals in the tournament.

Kibuli SS finished 10 men after their left back Juma Ssajabi was shown marching orders after stopping an opponents’ shoot with an hand.

The results means, St Mary’s Kitende will be taking on Amus College Bukedea in finals of 2023 FEASSSA Boys Games.

Meanwhile in Girls Football, only three Ugandan sides reached Semifinals of the Championship.

Amus College will be taking on Kawempe Muslim at Kamena Stadium at noon.

In the other Semifinal game, Ugandan side as well defending champions St Noa Girls School Zzana will be taking on Wiyeta Secondary School at Huye Stadium at the same time.
