The exciting FEASSSA Boys Football Games came to climax with Ugandan Schools taking on the best awards.

Wakiso based school St Mary’s Kitende clinched the FEASSSA Boys Football Trophy after edging Amus College on penalties 4-2 after both sides had played a 1-1 draw in normal time.

St Mary’s Kitende scored first through Fazila Tumwine in the 4th minute.

In the 15th minute, inform striker Allan Oyirwoth equalized matters for Amus College when he tapped in.

Both Schools appeared defensively with little goalscoring chances and so the winner was to be decided by penalties.

Amos Ayikobua and Allan Oyirwoth scored the first two penalties for Amus College and both were sending St Mary’s Kitende’s goalkeeper Jack Komakech the wrong way.

Derrick Kato and Johnson Kabagambe scored the first two penalties for St Mary’s Kitende.

Ronald Madoi Captain of St Mary’s Kitende took in the third penalty with ease to grant his side advantage.

The fourth penalty of Amus College taken by Shafiq Wasangwa was shoot wide before Kitende’s fourth penalty taken by defender Rogers Torach was shoot in.

Despite the loss, Amus College foward Allan Oyirwoth finished as the top scorer with 12 goals.

Meanwhile Kibuli SS scooped the Bronze awards after defeating St Henry’s Kitovu on a 2-1 score.

In Girls Football, Kawempe Muslim took the Gold Medal after defeating Kenya’s Wiyeta Girls in Finals.

St Noah Girls Zzana humbled Amus College 4-0 to walk away with Bronze.
