Debutants ISBAT eager for maximum points against Bishop Stuart

ISBAT University who are making their debut appearance in the Pepsi University Football League are desperate to pick maximum points against as they travel to the west to face Bishop Stuart University.

The clash is to be played today Thursday in Mbarara at Riverside grounds the home of Bishop Stuart University.

League debutantes ISBAT University are excited to be a part of the Pepsi University Football League and are eager to show their mettle when they take on Bishop Stuart University in their very first league game away from home.

ISBAT coach Oundo Edwin said he and his team have been looking forward to playing in the league and are hopeful of having an impact in their very first season.

” We are eager to play, we have been looking forward and now that the time is here, we have to go out and show cause” head coach for ISBAT University Edwin Oundo said before adding.

” My team is young and the players lack league experience, but we have trained well, and l expect positive results when we go to Mbarara “.

Bishop Stuart’s head coach also Kwegondoza Karungi also vowed on how not to take ISBAT University for granted.

” We have been drawn in a tricky group with only three teams, so it is important that we get all three points from this game, if we are to make it to the knockout stage”.

Karungi added ” We can’t take ISBAT for granted. l believe they are well prepared and looking for a win, but we are also well prepared and l am confident we shall win at home”.

Both Universities will be taking on each other for the first time in the University league.
