Generous Reward for African Games Rugby 7s Winners: Nile Special Presents UGX 100 Million Prize

It was a historic moment for Uganda Rugby as both the Rugby Cranes 7s and Lady Rugby Cranes 7s national teams emerged victorious at the 13th African Games in Accra, Ghana.

This was the first appearance of Rugby 7s at the continental event, and Uganda took the rugby world by storm with their unbeaten run and gold medals.

In an exceptional move, Nile Special, the sponsor of Uganda Rugby Union (URU), awarded each team with a cash prize of UGX 50 million in recognition of their superb effort.

Nile Special brands manager, Rogers Ssali, was present at the victory party held by URU to present the winning bonuses.
