CAF Champions League: Vipers’ Head Coach eager for a win as they face Botswana’s Jwaneng Galaxy

The 2022/2023 Uganda Premier league winners Vipers SC are to face Botswana’s Champions Jangweni Galaxy today on Sunday 20th at Lobatse Sports Complex.

Vipers SC head coach Leonard Martins is confident of maximum points as he reveals as below.

” l believe in our capacity and preparations as a team and l believe we can surprise Jwaneng Galaxy FC tomorrow” Leonard Martins said before adding.

” And, we are here to try and win the game. And that’s why we are going to try and do our best”.

” Jwaneng Galaxy FC have had a good run in the CAF Champions League and three or four years ago they beat Simba”.

” But our target is about tomorrow and after tomorrow we are going to organize the team for next week’s return leg as we look forward for the second Preliminary round” Neiva concluded.

Vipers will have to host Botswana’s Jangweni Galaxy on 26th of August at St Mary’s Kitende in the reverse fixture.

Meanwhile the aggregate winner will have to face the winner between Comoros’ Djabal FC and South Africa’s Orlando Pirates.

In the first leg between the two sides, Orlando Pirates picked a crucial away (1-0) win over Comoros’ Djabal FC.
