SC Villa to kick off season against newcomers Kitara, 2023/2024 UPL fixtures released

Uganda Premier League Secretariat has released the 2023/2024 season fixtures.
The new season kicks off on Friday 15th, September 2023 with SC Villa hosting new promoted side Kitara FC at Mutesa II Stadium, Wankulukuku.
The same day will see Mbarara City welcome NEC at Bombo Military Grounds while Bright Stars will welcome BUL at Kavumba Recreation grounds.
On Sunday 17th September 2023, will see other games follow with Arua hills hosting Busoga United at Kavumba Recreation grounds, UPDF will host URA at Bombo Military Grounds while Wakiso Giants will host Maroons at Kabaka Kyabaggu Stadium.
Dates for the last fixtures of match day one will be confirmed with Gaddafi hosting Vipers SC and KCCA FC hosting Express FC.
Unlike last season, a full fixture has been released by the secretariat with the season expected to end in May.
Vipers are the defending Champions having won the Uganda Premier league trophy last season with 53 points.
On the other side, SC Villa are the record Champions having won the Uganda Premier League trophy 16 times.
