URA FC Vs BUL FC – MTN Omondi Stadium.

KCCA FC Vs SC Villa – MTN Omondi Stadium.
Four time Uganda Premier League winners URA FC are taking on 2021 Uganda Cup winners BUL FC in FUFA Super 8 finals.
URA comes into the final after eliminating Soltilo Bright Stars and KCCA FC in Quarter and Semifinals respectively.
Meanwhile BUL FC eliminated 2019 FUFA Super 8 Champions Vipers in quarters while SC Villa in Semis.
URA FC had last won a trophy in 2013 that was Uganda Cup so they will be eagerly targeting their first silverware in a period of 10 years.
URA FC are under the guidance of head coach Fred Muhumuza.
The interim manager revealed how they come in the game underdogs though eager for silverware.
” In reference to recent years, we are the underdogs since BUL FC recently won the Uganda Cup trophy and we haven’t won anything in 10years” Muhumuza revealed before adding.
” But since we started the competition, our objective have been to win it and hopefully that happens in honour of our departed coach”.
Abbey Kikomeko who is also the head coach of BUL FC revealed on how his team have prepared for the finals.
” URA is a team that almost everybody thinks is above us but when you look at stataics, both teams are almost at the same level” he said before adding.
” We are all play in Uganda Premier League and now we are meeting in this Super 8 final, the team is well motivated and ready. We have trained for a full week and everything is in a high gear”.
” All the players who were injured ate back in the team and l don’t expect anybody to be off the pitch. We are very ready for the game” Kikomeko concluded.
URA FC will miss the services of Laban Tibita who was called for National duties while BUL will miss none.
Meanwhile in third place playoffs. 2018 FUFA Super 8 winner KCCA FC will be taking on SC Villa.
